Traffic enforcement campaign

Peel Regional Police Road Safety Service alongside York Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police held a Traffic Safety Blitz from June 20 to June 21. Enforcement efforts were focused along Highway 50 across three Regions. This campaign is a result of numerous complaints and collisions in the area and the initiative is designed to remind people that an essential part of the enforcement job is to save lives and reduce injuries on our roadways. Police advise the public to be vigilant

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Fraud Bureau would like to advise the public that citizens are still receiving sporadic calls with regards to the Canada Revenue Agency / Immigration scams.  Police are urging citizens to continue to be vigilant of suspicious phone calls. Emergency Department undergoes renovations

From June 20 until the end of July, part of the Brampton Civic Hospital Emergency Department will undergo renovations to help refresh the appearance and improve the safety and flow of patients in the Ambulatory Treatment Centre (ATC). Golf tournament raises over $308,000 for Osler Foundation

Golfers teed off at Lionhead Golf Club in Brampton to raise funds for Osler Foundation’s 11th annual Osler Open: Brampton Invitational golf tournament last week.
