If you liked last year’s Canada 150 party at Mississauga Celebration Square, you’re going to love what 151 has to offer. Multi-award-winning super group, MAGIC! is set to headline the party of the summer on the Square.

MAGIC! isn’t the only rabbit in the Square’s top hat. The Canada Day main stage line-up includes: singer/songwriter, Allie X; DJ, Kid Koala; pop band, Valley; reggae artist, Ammoye; and folk artist, William Prince. As well, a full line-up of kids’ programming will be in full swing at Camp Canuck. Attendees can make a splash in the fountain in the afternoon and cap the celebrations with a spectacular fireworks finale at 10:05 p.m.

The official ceremony will put guests in a proud-to-be-Canadian state of mind. Mayor Bonnie Crombie and members of council will lead a reaffirmation oath encouraging the audience to re-affirm their Canadian citizenship.

ET Canada’s Sangita Patel, Global News’ Antony Robart and Alan Carter and 640 Toronto’s Tasha Kheiriddin will host the event which includes a full day of family-friendly entertainment.

The festivities run from 2 to 10:30 p.m. on July 1. Details can be found here.
