ARTward Bound is back on the road this Summer!

The Living Arts Centre’s ARTward Bound team is back on the road this summer, bringing free visual and performing arts programming to communities across Mississauga. Join in on art-filled days throughout July and August, 2019 when our friendly team will help budding artists experiment with paint, sculpture and mixed media. Participate in an upbeat Hip Hop workshop and learn some new moves, then be entertained with a children’s performance. Performances vary by location and date. A lunch program is available at select locations. All activities are FREE. This program is recommended for children ages 5 to 12 and participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No pre-registration is required, simply drop in for part of the program or join us for the full day! 

From 10:30 am until 3:00 pm for all the following locations, you can visit the Malton Library on July 12; the Churchill Meadows Library on July 13 and the Forest Ridge Community Housing on July 23. On July 25 & 26 visit the River Grove Community Centre; on July 29 & 30 the Cooksville United Church, and the Britannia Glen Co-op on July 31 & August 1. Finally, visit the Sheridan Centre on August 8 (no lunch) and August 13 the Port Credit Library.

Visit the Courtneypark Library on August 15 & 16 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Living Arts Centre, in partnership with Bridgeway Family Centre and EarlyON Child & Family Centre, is bringing visual arts and live performances to Jack Darling Memorial Park (Picnic Spot A) for ages 0-6! Join us rain or shine on July 3, 10, 17 & 24 and August 7 & 14.

Performers at various venues include DuffleBag Theatre Company, Full Step Saga , Neil Croswell, Magic, WonderPhil Magic, Soli & Rob, The Bubbleology Show, and Tribal Vision Dance.
