Library promotes reading during lockdown

During the province-wide lockdown period, libraries are able to offer curbside pickup and Brampton Library has confirmed that all eight branch libraries are offering this service for customers’ held items previously reserved online and for staff-curated ‘Grab ‘n’ Go’ bag pickup anytime during curbside hours.

Grab-n-Go, Book Bundles, and more offer members multiple ways to use the library’s services while the branches are closed. Enjoy flexible returns through 24-hour external drop boxes at all branches. Discover free eBooks and eAudiobooks, entertainment streaming, online learning and more in the Digital Library and find out about virtual programs for all ages and interests in Calendar of Events. Subscribe to our email updates and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Reserve borrowable items online with your Brampton Library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number) and select a pickup location at that time. An email or voicemail notification is sent when held items are ready for pick up.

Curbside Pickup is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Click Here for the Curbside Pickup hours of operation and instructions on how to place holds.

When you arrive, watch for the bright green signs and prepare to provide the last four digits of your library card. Click here to apply for your own Brampton Library card.

Even when branches are closed, the library’s website is open. Members can borrow free of charge a wide range of digital items that entertain and support online learning. Click here to discover digital collections
