Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in Canada, and there are now plenty of places to play in Brampton. The City recently opened seven outdoor pickleball courts in two locations for public use.

From Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, City staff will set up four pickleball courts in the lacrosse box. After hours, players can bring their own portable nets and play on a first-come, first served basis.

There are three courts available during the tennis season (May to October), which operate on a first-come, first served basis. Players are asked to rotate off of the courts every half hour during busy times to ensure everyone has a chance to play.
The City of Brampton also offers indoor drop-in pickleball at various recreation centres throughout the year. Drop-in times and locations are available online through the drop-in filter.
“Brampton has a diverse community that is full of sports enthusiasts, and I am excited to introduce our new pickleball courts for everyone to use. This is yet another way we are keeping our city Healthy and Safe and ensuring residents have opportunities to play and enjoy the outdoors,” said Mayor Patrick Brown.
