For those needing a good laugh after a long winter, comedian Derek Seguin may be the perfect remedy.

Montreal-based Seguin is considered one of Canada’s hottest comedians, touring clubs and theatres across North America for the past few years. His debut concert album, Newfie Octopus, is a bestseller on CD Baby and iTunes. Seguin was the winner of the 2015 Sirius XM’s Top Comic competition and has performed an impressive six times at the prestigious invitation-only Just For Laughs festival.

He filmed a set for HBO at last year’s festival and made other televised appearances, including the CBC Winnipeg and Halifax festivals, The Newfoundland Comedy Festival, the Grand Rire du Quebec’s Comedie Club series as well as the Just for Laughs Comedy Special, Oh Canada! He has also appeared on CBC Radio’s The Debaters more than twenty-five times and recorded two episodes of the TV-version of the show.

In Derek Seguin 43.0, the comedian shares the challenges of being a single dad in his forties with a girlfriend that has no kids while trying to live in an ever-changing and often overbearing world. His Quebecois flare and original point of view engages the audience and guarantees an evening of laughs. The show is intended for mature audiences.
