Mississauga Symphony Orchestra to share the stage with Brass Transit for fundraiser performance

What happens when eight of Canada’s most in-demand musicians gather together out of a common love for the greatest jazz-rock group of all time? Answer: Brass Transit; Toronto’s dynamic, crowd pleasing, studio-tight Chicago tribute band.

Mississauga Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Denis Mastromonaco is honoured to once again share the stage with this sonic supergroup in a concert presented by the Joyous Life Music Foundation. Net proceeds generated from the event will be donated to Toronto General Hospital to support the research of Dr. Kazuhiro Yasufuku, director of the Interventional Thoracic Surgery program at the University Health Network.

Ticket prices start at $65. Showtime is Saturday, August 19 at Hammerson Hall of the Living Arts Centre, 4141 Living Arts Dr. For tickets, call: 905-306-6000 or visit: www.livingartscentre.ca/theatre-performances/a-fundraising-concert-for-toronto-general-hospital.
