Police are looking for a man after a fire was deliberately set at a Port Credit apartment building.
A warrant has been issued for Mark Blair, 42, of no fixed address.
According to investigators of Peel Regional Police 12 Division, the incident occurred Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1 a.m. at a building located on Park St. E. and Helene St.
Investigators say the fire started on one of the occupied floors of the high-rise and then later a car was set ablaze in the parking lot.
There were no injuries, but extensive damage was done to the building and car.
The arrest warrant charges Blair with arson-disregard for human life, arson causing damage to property, criminal harassment and uttering death threats.
The suspect is known to drive a brown Pontiac Montana minivan with Ontario plates CBTP488.
Police say the man is considered dangerous and warn the public to avoid him if spotted and call 911 or by sending a text message to CRIMES (274637) with the word “Peel” then your tip.
