Proud to be Canadian, Our Stories exhibit at Living Arts Centre

Proud to be Canadian, Our Stories is a juried photographic exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation. Renowned artists Freeman Patterson, Richard Martin and Charles Pachter selected the images. This exhibition is featured at the Living Arts Centre Gallery and on the 2nd floor Community Walls.

This exhibition is a vibrant, colourful celebration of Canada from coast to coast. Text compliments and expands upon the visual narratives as members of the Mississauga Camera Club tell their stories of Canada. The photographs speak from the souls of the artists.

The exhibit is on display at the Living Arts Centre from June 30 – August 20, 2017.

The Mississauga Camera Club was founded in 1955 and has more than 200 members. The club encourages a love of photography, the development of technical skills, and the sharing of experience and knowledge through member meetings, workshops, lectures, competitions, and exhibitions.
