The Raptors 905 have beefed up their roster in time for the season start, at home, at 2 p.m. on Nov. 3, against the Delaware Blue Coats.
The 905 swapped the returning player rights of Kyle Wiltjer for centre Eric Moreland from the Canton Charge. As well, the Raptors acquired the returning player rights of guard/forward Kyle Collinsworth from the Texas Legends in exchange for Kennedy Meeks and CJ Leslie.
Moreland (6-10, 238 pounds) last played in the NBA G League for the Charge in the 2016/2017 season, when he averaged 12.8 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. The Houston, Texas native has also appeared in 78 NBA games with Sacramento and Detroit. He played in three preseason games for the Toronto Raptors, including a 12 point and team-high 12 rebound outing at New Orleans on Oct. 11.
Collinsworth (6-6, 210 pounds) played in 32 games with the Dallas Mavericks last season, averaging 3.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. The native of Provo, Utah played in four preseason games with the Toronto Raptors, and showed his versatility with, on average, three points, four rebounds and four assists. He also appeared in 20 games for the Texas Legends in the G League last year, averaging 11 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
