Wrestling superstar Ric Flair, legendary quarterback Joe Theisman and hockey hero Bobby Hull headline the guests who will be featured at the Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo at the International Centre in Malton this weekend.
As well as a host of other sport celebrities, the show features over 400 exhibitors who will be selling a wide variety of memorabilia with a heavy emphasis on hockey cards and collectibles.
The Expo is the largest of its kind in Canada and brings together dealers and collectors from across North America and gives fans an opportunity to meet their heroes close up.
Autographs come at a cost, though, with prices ranging from anywhere between $25 and $150 depending on who is doing the signing. Along with those mentioned, other stars include hockey players Phil Esposito, Brett Hull, Frank Mahovlich, Paul Henderson and Denis Potvin as well as Willie O’Ree, the first black player in the NHL. Baseball players include Vladimir Guerrero Sr. and Roberto Alomar.
Beginning Friday, May 3 the show runs through Sunday, May 5.
