The City of Mississauga has lots of tips for their September student population that will fill the halls of the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) and Sheridan College. Whether it be fire safety for soon-to-be roommates or finding the ideal study spot (with wifi), the City has got thousands of post-secondary students covered.

Find Your Way Around the City

The City’s transit service, MiWay, has routes to all campuses and connects with neighbouring transit systems including GO Transit, TTC, Brampton Transit and Oakville Transit. Stay Healthy

There are over 350 fitness classes available per week, along with discounted fitness memberships to full-time students, just visit: activemississauga.ca.

Find the Ideal Study Spot

The Mississauga Library System has 18 locations across the City with free WiFi, computer workstations, group study rooms, great resources and more. For more information, visit mississauga.ca/library.

Public WiFi is also available at over 50 locations across the city, including libraries, community centres and arenas.

Eduroam is available to Sheridan College, UTM and other post-secondary institutions allowing students to access school resources using public WiFi: mississauga.ca/wireless.

Be Fire Safe
